Should you buy a box at all?

Portal boxes vs Android boxes

A portal box such as a MAG receives its channel list from the provider's portal. It is simple and stable, but it only does what the portal allows. An Android box runs a full operating system: you install an app for IPTV, another for streaming services and can change apps whenever you like.
